story number 4

>> Wednesday, March 05, 2008

Cindy opened her notebook and started to write a dialogue between two people.

Person 1: What's bothering you?
Person 2: I traded my feelings for friendship.
Person 1: Since when did you become reflective?

Cindy stopped. She remembered something, something that bothered her. She turned to the unfinished script.

She crossed everything out.

Person 1: What's bothering you?
Person 2: I traded my feelings for friendship.
Person 1: Since when did you become reflective?

What did she feel? Why did it stop her from writing?

She put her hand on the page, ready to tear it out of the notebook. The paper started to crumple. Then, she let go. She smoothened out the paper.

She smiled and held back the tears. She let go of the paper, she let it go.
